Abstract
Percutaneous ablation, primarily radiofrequency (RFA) and cryoablation, is a potentially curative treatment for renal carcinoma. Each technique has advantages and disadvantages. Simultaneously, patient radiation exposure from imaging has become an increasingly important public health and medical issue. The purpose of this retrospective study is to compare radiation exposure between cryoablation and RFA for renal tumors.
