Abstract

Loss of sleep is an endemic problem-with consequences. In jet lag, desynchronization of the circadian clock is exacerbated by the number of time zones crossed, eastward travel, loss of sleep and availability of local time cues. Factors altering TSH and PRL in a jet lag-affected individual are illustrated here.
