Endres In commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we offer historical analysis of U.S. Catholic-Protestant dialogue and interaction, including examples of cooperation and antipathy. Kara French is assistant professor of history and director of gender and sexuality studies at Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland.Carl C. Creason is a doctoral student in U.S. history at Northwestern University focusing on the cultural and religious history of the nineteenth century. Peter Cajka is a postdoctoral fellow at the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism at the University of Notre Dame. Catherine R. Osborne, visiting assistant professor of theology at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, is author of the forthcoming book, American Catholics and the Church of Tomorrow, 1925-1975 (University of Chicago Press, 2018). Chris Beneke is associate professor of history and director of the Valente Center for the Arts and Sciences at Benley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.
