Abstract
External ear deformities can lead to abnormal ear development and hearing impairment, while abnormal jawbone hyperplasia can cause facial dysplasia and dental malocclusion, which have a significant impact on children's growth and development. This article reports a case of right external ear malformation for 10 years accompanied by left mandibular dysplasia for 4 years. There is currently no systematic treatment plan for patients with both types of deformities in clinical practice, so it is important to develop a comprehensive treatment plan before surgery. This article mainly reports the surgical methods and intraoperative risk management of external ear malformation complicated with abnormal bone fiber hyperplasia in the jawbone.
