Abstract

The solar explosive events are further studied taking Joule dissipation and thermal conduction into account. The former heats up the plasmoid of the magnetic island, the latter cools it down. The results are consistent with S.-P. Jin's previous work that did not include either factors, and display more clearly the phenomenon of high-velocity flow in these events.
