Abstract

Protection of medical images is becoming an important issue. Recent health tools provide more and more medical images and information in a routine manner. The reliability of such proceedings need to be secured from unofficial alterations. Individual safety event that can be used is cryptography as information protection technique. In tele-medicine facilities, the privacy and veracity of patient images can be obtained by secreting the electronic patient record. Also at equal period of investigation, the worth of the particular health images should not be negotiated. The acceptance of numerical patient information and the growing needs for information between patients, benefactors, and customers, all focus on the way to for enhancing data security. In this paper a survey on image encryption techniques and their functionalities are analyzed.
