Abstract

AbstractGas reservation is a prime need in every individual’s life. This paper consists of IOT and ARDUINO-based gas level and leakage detection system. By detecting gas leakage, we can prevent the LPG gas burst accidents in the home. By the use of IOT, the user is alerted by giving the message to their mobile device when the LPG level is critically low (below20%) as well as when there is a gas leakage. When the gas has been detected by the gas sensor, then the output of the sensor is sent to the microcontroller and the buzzer is turned ON. Automatic booking of new LPG gas cylinder is done, so that and late booking is avoided. The current LPG level is continuously displayed on the LCD. The level of LPG is measured using load sensor. The sensor is used to find the gas seepage. The sensor has an accurate and precise result time at a low cost. It reminds the user by dispatching the message to replenish the cylinder. Once, the gas leakage is detected by the sensors, the window will be automatically opened to avoid the further loss. The notification to the users is sent through cayenne application method. It gives more user-friendly format of notification.
