Abstract

Using the data of ITARDA Micro Accidents' Research, vehicle-to-vehicle accidents in intergreen periods were analysed. Thirty percent of Vehicle-to-vehicle accidents occurred in intergreen periods at signalized intersection, intergreen periods were hazardous. Angle accidents occurred more in intergreen periods. More drivers that cause vehicle-to-vehicle accidents in intergreen periods recognized hazard. Analyzing by attribute, heavy vehicle, man, elder and high frequency drivers cause vehicle-to-vehicle accidents in intergreen periods more.
