Abstract
In the area of scheduling management, Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) are playing important roles, however, it always occurs delaying due to Parkinson’s low and Students syndrome, this paper makes an investigation on Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) deeply, which is the latest developments of scheduling, and elaborates basic principles and advantage of CCPM buffer. In the Calculation of the buffer sizing, analyzed the limitations of the cut & paste(C&P) method and the root square error (RSE) method first, a new method of buffer sizing method based on statistical analysis was introduced.
