Abstract

Population estimates of Salmo sular L. and Salmo trutta L. were made by electrofishing at 39 stations spaced along the main river and tributaries. Within the tributaries there was a tendency for the standing crop, the average weight of individual fish and the proportion of juvenile salmon to trout to decline in an upstream direction The survey included an ayessnient of a salmon alevin restocking project.
