Abstract
Distribution of nano- and microphytoplankton cell density and biomass (expressed as biovolume) were analyzed at 64 stations in the Adriatic Sea, in July 1984, after the northern Adriatic bloom. Biomass distribution may be indirectly linked with the position of eutrophication sources and currents. „Macroaggregates” formed after the bloom are descriptively analysed.
