Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is essential for organization success. The higher rate of employee job satisfaction the higher the organization success because only the motivated employees are assets to the company. So it necessary to consider the employee job satisfaction in the modern organizations. In this paper it was about the identification of the factors affecting the employee job satisfaction and making a division of factors affecting the employee job satisfaction. The data was collected using a questionnaire method from premium tobacco packer’s private limited. A descriptive type of study was taken using a structured questionnaire method from 150 employees. From the structured questionnaire five questions were identified to find out the Job satisfaction Index (JSI). The study hypothesized that there is a relationship between JSI and gender, JSI and experience and also JSI and quality of work life. The testing of hypothesis was done using the statistical tool chi square analysis. The study results that there is no relationship between JSI and gender and there is no relationship between JSI and Experience but there is a high level of significance is observed between JSI and Quality of work life.
