Abstract

A mobile ad hoc network (MANETs) has become necessity in today's world. It has significant advantage when it is compared to the structured based network. Due to high demand of MANET, its performance is considered prior during implementation. Performance of MANET depends upon life time of network which further depends on various parameters such as, energy, mobility, density security of the network. Since MANET is powered with battery power which is always limited, thus building a power saving network is always a prime task. In this paper we proposed a strength based energy efficient algorithm where we calculate the energy of the node and the divide the tasks according, so that the maximum energy of the node can be saved and life time of the network can be enhanced.
