Abstract

The articles is devoted to the role of heme in soluble guanylate cyclase functioning, the molecular mechanism of nitrogen oxide activation of guanylate cyclase, the role of guanylate cyclase in the process of platelet aggregation, and the mechanism of the antihypertensive and antiaggregative action of certain activators of the enzyme.
