Abstract
The article by Evgenii Grigor'evich Iasin, doctor of economic sciences and well-known specialist, is published for discussion purposes. The editors believe that the time has come to give the discussion of the price formation problem its "second breath" and to view it as an integral part of the extremely involved complex of questions pertaining to monetary-financial normalization. Society must know the facts no matter how unpleasant they may be, and must freely discuss all including unpopularalternatives. We hope that our readers will respond with interest and we note once more that the assessments and proposals contained in the article express E. Iasin's personal position.
