Abstract
SummaryThe lightmeter is based upon a selenium cell. The sensor has a good cosine response and a maximum output of c. 20mV in full sunlight. Although the wavelength sensitivity of the sensor only approximates that of a quantum sensor the calculated errors under orchard conditions are shown to be negligible.
