Environmental valuation has been applied since 1987. In this article, a bibliometric approach was employed between the years 1987 and 2022 using the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases to examine the scientific production on this subject. The VOSviewer software was used, and a sample of 712 publications in WoS and 743 in Scopus was found. The highest number of publications in WoS was in 2018, while in Scopus it was in 2017. During the research period, the United States had the highest number of publications on environmental valuation in WoS, while the United Kingdom had the highest number in Scopus. The most frequently appearing keyword was "environmental valuation" in both platforms. The author with the highest number of publications was Nick Hanley from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, in both platforms. The topic of environmental valuation has gained importance over the years due to increased interest in the environment, as a response to the damages incurred. It aims to assist decision-making and enable the accounting of costs and benefits associated with natural capital.

The present study was conducted to evaluate the worldwide scientific production related to observers applied to internal combustion engines by taking information from the Web of Science (WoS) database and taking the papers published between 2001 − 2017. The works found are mostly research articles with a total of 130 articles equivalent to 97.01%, of the 134 articles studied, and it was also noted that the production of this type of work increased in the last 3 years, with the maximum value in 2015 being 22 articles, even in those 3 years, the greatest number of references were also found. The United States is the country with the highest number of publications with 42 followed by People´s Republic of China, France and UK with 41, 11 and 11 respectively. Although the USA is the country with the highest number of publications, China has consolidated its position as the country with the highest number of publications and citations in the last 3 years. However, within the top 10 institutes with the highest number of publications, 4 of them are from the United States, among which Ohio State University stands out as the institute with the highest number of publications with 16 (11.9%). On the other hand, the most commonly used words in the documents were observer (91), control (47), engine (47), based (42) and estimation (41).

Objectives To analyze the literature data and research status of immunotherapy for the treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma since the establishment of the Web of Science (WOS) core database. Material and Methods The WOS core database was searched for literature related to immunotherapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and the included literature was formatted, cleaned, node merged, and analyzed using CiteSpace software. Based on the parameters set, the included literature was analyzed for trends in publications, author publications and inter-author collaborations, national publications, global institutional publications and inter-institutional collaborations, citations, keyword co-occurrence, keyword emergence, and keyword clustering. The final visual knowledge map was created. Results A total of 370 articles were selected for inclusion. The highest number of annual publications was in 2021. Four individuals, Marconato Laura; Ansell, Stephen M; Xiao Min; and Aresu Luca, were the most published scholars. The United States with 152 publications was the country with the highest number of publications. Benjamin J is the most cited scholar in this field. The top three most cited keywords were “expression,” “diffuse large b-cell lymphoma,” and “rituximab.” “Bone marrow transplantation” was the first and longest-running keyword. “Cancer immunotherapy,” “resistance,” and “cytokine release syndrome” are still hot topics. The keyword clusters “pd-l1,” “antibody-based,” “immunotherapy,” and “cd19” were the main clusters studied. Conclusion After visualization and analysis, the recent research and hot trends in the field of immunotherapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma were reviewed using knowledge mapping and further presented in a visualized form, providing a reference for further development of related research in the future.

Studies have shown that publication of work during medical school and residency is associated with higher numbers of later publications and citations of published research. However, it is unknown whether this association exists for non-PhD physician-scientists and whether the association persists later into their careers. We extracted publication records from the curricula vitae (CVs) of 102 corresponding authors of articles published in 2008 in the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA, and obtained those authors' citation records from Web of Science. We used regression models to examine the association between time of first publication and later publication and citation rates for the entire postgraduate career and a recent 2-year period. After adjusting for time since medical school graduation, sex, location of medical school (United States or not United States), and additional non-PhD degrees, we found that authors who first published before graduating from medical school had a greater mean number of publications after medical school and during the period from 2006 to 2007 (164 and 28, respectively) than those who first published during the 5years afterward (111 and 19, respectively) and those who first published more than 5years after graduation (59 and 13, respectively). Similarly, authors who first published before graduating from medical school had a greater mean number of citations of their published work since graduation and of publications from 2006 to 2007 (4634 and 333, respectively) than those who first published during the 5years afterward (2936 and 183, respectively) and those who first published more than 5years after graduation (1512 and 143, respectively). Early publication is associated with higher numbers of publications and more citations of published research among non-PhD physician-scientists. This association persists well into a researcher's career.

In this study, research on distance education in the last twenty years has been analyzed according to years, keywords, countries, and institutions. The sample of the study consisted of 20,634 studies published on distance education in the last twenty years on Web of Science. Data were downloaded from the database by year. The data obtained were analyzed with WOSViewer. For some analyses, data were analyzed with Power BI version 2.11 software to reach meaningful results. The results were analyzed and compared separately for four quarters or periods of time: 2003-2007, 2008-2012, 2013-2017, and 2018-2023. As a result, most publications were made in 2021 and in the fourth quarter. "Distance learning, higher education, distance education, education, online education, blended learning, online teaching, pandemic, and covid-19" are the most used keywords according to the general distribution of research by keywords. The use of keywords differed by quartiles. The USA, China, England, Australia, and Spain were the countries with the highest number of distance education publications according to general distribution. The USA, England, Australia, Spain, and Saudi Arabia have conducted studies every quarter. The University of California System, N Research Partnership, University of London were the organizations with the highest number of publications during the time periods studied. It was found that only the Open University in the UK published distance education articles in three quarters.

BackgroundThe first human monkeypox (MPX) case was identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 1970 with an outbreak in 2010 and the first human MPX case in the UK in 2022. In this study, we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the literature on monkeypox based on the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) to identify relevant topics and trends in monkeypox research. MethodsWe searched the Web of Science from 1964 until July 14, 2022, for all publications using the keywords “Monkeypox” and “Monkeypox virus.” Results were compared using numerous bibliometric methodologies and stratified by journal, author, year, institution, and country-specific metrics. ResultsOut of 1170 publications initially selected, 1163 entered our analysis, with 65.26 % (n = 759) being original research articles and 9.37 % (n = 109) being review articles. Most MPX publications were in 2010, with 6.02 % (n = 70), followed by 2009 and 2022 at 5.67 % (n = 66) each. The USA was the country with the highest number of publications, with n = 662 (56.92 %) of total publications, followed by Germany with n = 82 (7.05 %), the UK with n = 74 (6.36 %), and Congo with n = 65 (5.59 %). Journal of Virology published the highest number of MPX publications, followed by Virology Journal and Emerging Infectious Diseases with n = 52 (9.25 %), n = 43 (7.65 %), and n = 32 (5.69 %) publications, respectively. The top contributing institutions were the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH)National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). ConclusionOur analysis provides an objective and robust overview of the current literature on MPX and its global trends; this information could serve as a reference guide for those aiming to conduct further MPX-related research and as a source for those seeking information about MPX.

After hosting a successful USDA/NIFA funded agricultural literacy professional development (ACRE), Mississippi teachers wanted to engage in more professional development around animal agriculture. Food science and poultry science are topics teachers teach to expose their students to other agricultural areas. Therefore, the Agricultural Science Professional Development 2.0 (ACRE 2.0) Project addresses Mississippi’s top commodity--poultry/eggs-$3.25 billion in 2023 (Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, 2024) and other food commodities. Teachers were afforded the opportunity to participate in a 4-day summer institute focusing on poultry and food science, literacy instruction, and socio-emotional learning. The objective was to improve the quality of education for Mississippi K-12 students by advancing teachers’ understanding and practices of agricultural literacy related to food science and poultry science. Teachers (cohort 1, n = 28; cohort 2, n = 26), who participated received continuing education credits (CEU’s) for recertification of their teaching license, a stipend, and classroom materials. They learned agriculture content, engaged in hands-on learning labs (e.g. sensory evaluation, embryo development, agar plates/swabbing, food preservation), participated in field excursions (e.g. poultry research unit tour), received literary strategy instruction, and discussed socio-emotional learning in relation to hunger in Mississippi. Program outcomes were achieved by teachers completing surveys (n = 2), interviews (n = 2), and lesson plan submissions (n = 2). Qualitative coding was applied to the data. Teachers post-interview and post-survey data indicated they have a deeper understanding of what it means to be agriculturally literate than they did prior to the institute. For example, teachers spoke of the interconnectedness of agriculture and the environment in the post interview data. Teacher 420 said, “agricultural literacy refers to understanding the interconnected systems of agriculture, including food production, environmental sustainability, economics, and societal impacts. It means being knowledgeable about where our food comes from, how it’s grown or raised, and the broader implications for our health and the environment.” Prior to the institute, many of the teachers provided a simpler definition of what it meant to be agriculturally literate. This institute addressed and corrected many common food science and poultry science misconceptions. One misconception addressed was that chickens are given hormones and steroids to make them grow bigger and faster; pre-survey 40 teachers answered true, post-survey 53 teachers refuted that statement. Teacher 424 noted, “This statement is absolutely false. Their growth has changed since the 1950’s due to the expertise of our scientists and the research they have done to improve genetics, safe food, and better environment for growth.” As such, ACRE 2.0 achieved project goals of increasing teacher understanding of food and poultry science and agricultural literacy practices. Objectives: This study aims to explore global research trends in pharmacoeconomics over the past decade through a bibliometric analysis of publications from 2015 to 2024. Methods: A bibliomet-ric analysis of pharmacoeconomic research articles published between 2015 and 2024, sourced from the PubMed database, was conducted using a structured search strategy targeting economic evaluation terms in combination with drug-related keywords. Data were analyzed using the Bib-lioshiny interface of the bibliometrix R package to assess publication trends, journal and institutional productivity, international collaboration, and thematic evolution. Citation data were further en-riched using metadata retrieved via the CrossRef REST API utilizing the httr, jsonlite, dplyr, and purrr packages in R. Results: The most prolific journals included Journal of Medical Economics , Pharma-coeconomics, andPLOS ONE. Foundational concepts such as ''cost-effectiveness analysis'' and ''sys-tematic review'' remained dominant throughout the decade. Since 2020, disease-specific terms like ''type diabetes'', ''chronic hepatitis'', ''lung cancer'', and ''urothelial carcinoma'' gained promi-nence, reflecting increasing interest in evaluating interventions for high-burden diseases. When considering all-author affiliations, China had the highest number of publications. However, when limited to corresponding authors, typically indicating research leadership, the United States and the United Kingdom led in output and citation impact. Conclusion: This bibliometric review highlights significant trends in pharmacoeconomics research over the last decade. There is a growing empha-sis on evaluating therapies for infectious and chronic diseases, with strong contributions from US-and UK-based institutions. These findings can guide future research priorities, funding allocation,and collaborative strategies in global health economics.

Ultrasound has a long history as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool. Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS), whose intensity is below 300 mW/cm2, has been widely used in orthopedic rehabilitation treatment. However, the detailed bioeffects and underlying mechanisms of LIPUS treatment need to be explored. To make a comprehensive view of the field, bibliometric and visualization analysis was used to reveal the global research trends of LIPUS in orthopedics and rehabilitation treatment between 1994 and 2023. All literature data on LIPUS were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. VOSviewer and CiteSpace were applied for the bibliometric and visualization analysis. A total of 760 publications were included. The distribution of publications generally showed an unstable rising trend. China had the highest number of publications (28.0%), and Chong Qing Medical University was the organization with the highest number of publications (5.8%). Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology had the highest number of publications (8.8%), while BMJ-British Medical Journal had the highest impact factor among the retrieved journals. Ling Qin from the Chinese University of Hong Kong was the most active researcher. Our overlay visualization map showed that the keywords such as pain, knee osteoarthritis, apoptosis, chondrocytes, cartilage, and autophagy, which link to osteoarthritis, have becoming the new research trends and hotspots. LIPUS is a popular and increasingly important area of orthopedic rehabilitation, and collaboration of authors from different countries should be further strengthened. Predictably, clinical application of LIPUS on chronic inflammation-related diseases and regenerative medicine, and in-depth biological mechanisms are the orientations of LIPUS in orthopedic rehabilitation treatment.

The aim of this study was to make a quantitative contribution to the impact of COVID-19 and Mental on consumer behavior. For this purpose, the data in the Scopus and WoS databases until 5 February 2024 were examined using bibliometric analysis. The data obtained within the scope of this study were classified and analyzed using the VOSviewer program developed for scientific mapping analysis. In the evaluations, 180 studies in the Web of Science database and 371 documents in the Scopus database were identified, and when duplicate studies were combined, 426 studies were included in the analysis. According to the results of the analysis, the journal with the highest number of publications is “Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services”; the organization with the highest number of publications is “Department of management sciences, University of Okara” and “North-West University”; the authors with the highest number of publications and citations are “Wang, Xueqin” and “Yuen, Kum Fai”; and the most cited studies are “Laato et al.” and “Goolsbee and Syverson”. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the studies on the impact of COVID-19 and mental factors on consumer behavior and makes a qualified contribution to the literature with an important opening.

Bibliometric study of the research trend on e-learning adoption theory is essential to investigate the existing literature to identify a suitable theory for new research. Objective of this study is to explore the research trend in scientific literature on e-learning adoption theory. Search of Web of Science and SCOPUS were carried out to find papers dealing with the contours of e-learning adoption theory. This study retrieved 84 research papers from Web of Science and 324 from SCOPUS on the “e-learning adoption theory.” USA and Taiwan accounted for the highest number of publications with 39 papers (12.03%) and 19 papers (22.62%) in SCOPUS and Web of Science respectively. Computer Science has the highest number of papers in SCOPUS whilst Education and Educational Research is the top in Web of Science. China Agricultural University and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia have the highest number of publications four and seven in Web of Science and SCOPUS respectively. National Central University and China Agricultural University are the most productive organization as they have received 321 and 69 citations on e-learning adoption theory in Web of Science and SCOPUS respectively. Among the authors, Tarhini Ali of Brunel University, London has published the highest number of papers (five) on e-learning adoption theory in Web of Science and received 124 citations. Despites, Giannakos, M.N. and Pappas, I.O. have published the same quantity of papers (five) in SCOPUS, they have received only 47 and 22 citations respectively. Journal namely Computers and Education have published the highest number of papers in both databases at 13 (16.05%) and 14 (4.32%) received the highest number of citations at 996 (53.04%) and 1487 (39.37%) for those papers in Web of Science and SCOPUS respectively. Among the technology adoption theories, the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behaviour is more suitable to study e-learning behavior of individuals.

The current study aimed to determine the impact of acidified feed on apparent ileal starch digestibility, intestinal transport and barrier function and intestinal glucose transporter expression. The experiment included a control group and a treatment group with broilers fed a standard diet without or with 1.5% of a commercial organic acid product (64% formic acid, 25% propionic acid, 11% water). Broilers were fed with the experimental diets from hatching until days 32-35. Starch digestibility was determined using 0.2% titanium dioxide as ingestible marker. Gene expressions of the intestinal sodium glucose transporter 1 (SGLT-1) and glucose transporter 2 (GLUT-2) were analysed using qPCR analysis. Additionally, SGLT-1 function and chloride secretion were analysed in Ussing chamber experiments. Jejunal samples were sequentially exposed to 10 mm glucose, 100 μm phloridzin, 100 μm histamine and 100 μm carbachol. Apparent ileal starch digestibility (±SEM) of the control group (97.5 ± 0.35%) and the acid-treated group (97.0 ± 0.59%) did not differ (p = 0.674). The mean tissue conductance of intestinal samples obtained from the control group and the treatment group was similar [10.6 mS/cm(2) (±0.68) and 9.4 mS/cm(2) (±0.80) respectively (p = 0.147)]. The mean short-circuit currents (ΔIsc ) of the samples exposed to glucose, phloridzin, histamine and carbachol did not differ (p > 0.05). Additionally, no differences in the expression of SGLT-1 and GLUT-2 could be observed (p = 0.942, p = 0.413). Based on this study, the consumption of feed supplemented with organic acids was not associated with effects on ileal starch digestibility and functional traits of jejunal tissues, indicating that these additives have no major impact on the small intestinal function in broilers.
