Abstract

Vibration suppression and disturbance rejection in torsional system are important issue in the future motion control. In this paper, first, a brief review on various control strategies is given. Next, a new control technique based on the disturbance observer, the "resonance ratio control" is proposed. By realizing Manabe's model polynomial, the 2-inertia non-stiff system can be controlled effectively although the controller's order is only 2.
