A Review of the Genus Pachnephoptrus Reitter, 1892 (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae: Eumolpinae) with Description of a New Species

A new diagnosis of the genus Pachnephoptrus Reitter, 1892, based on new characters, is given. The genus most closely related to it within the tribe Adoxini Baly, 1863 is Lepinaria Medvedev, 1998. New synonymy is established: Lepinaria Medvedev, 1998 (= Pseudolepis Medvedev et Zoia, 2001, syn. n.). A key to the species and a catalogue of described species of Pachnephoptrus are given. A new species, Pachnephoptrus storozhenkoi sp. n., is described from India (Himachal Pradesh). This is the first apterous species described in the genus Pachnephoptrus.
