Abstract
This paper presents an educational model of group field instruction. The model enhances the quality of training social work students by offering a wider variety of teaching-learning experiences and enabling the field instructor to rely on multiple evaluation methods to assess student performances. Social work service units from a large Midwestern DVA Medical Center using this model describe the strengths and limitations of providing field supervision in the manner.
