Abstract

We are presenting a rare case of primary pericardial lymphangioma of heart in a 32-year-old woman who presented as acute onset of shortness of breath. Echocardiography revealed an ill-defined cystic mass in the pericardial cavity with large pericardial effusion. Contrast CT scan was inconclusive. ECG-gated MRI revealed well defined well-encapsulated poorly enhancing mass attached to the right ventricular wall with effusion. True FISP MR imaging gave the most spectacular demonstration of the mass attached to right ventricular myocardium causing diastolic compression.
