Abstract
By means of two solvent treatments and two gel-permeation treatments, a crude total lipid extract can be processed in quantity to obtain pure proteolipid protein which retains its characteristic property of being soluble in CHCl 3CH 3OH mixtures and is freed of adventitious lipids.
