Abstract
Physics should not be taken all that seriously, and to emphasize the point the Institute publishes this month an anthology of writings by physicists ranging from the thoughtful to the hilarious. Called A Random Walk in Science, it has been compiled by Professor R L Weber and edited by Professor E Mendoza (see the review on p680 of this issue).
