Abstract
A slip-line field is proposed for the cold-rolling process in which rolls of 20 in. dia. are used to reduce 1 4 in. thick strip by 20 per cent. It is a sequel to a previous field for small rolls put forward by the authors. 1 A feature of this field is the absence of velocity discontinuities.
