Abstract
AbstractDevice‐to‐device (D2D) and full duplex (FD) technologies demonstrate immense potentials to improve the spectral efficiency of wireless networks. However, their synergistic combination to reap added benefits is proved to be technically challenging. This letter investigates the throughput‐maximization resource allocation problem for FD D2D communications underlaying cellular networks. The problem is decoupled into two subproblems, namely power allocation and channel assignment, which are solved by using a novel quadratic transform based scheme and the Kuhn–Munkres algorithm, respectively. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing ones in terms of overall system throughput.
