Abstract

a novel watermarking scheme for image authentication in DWT domain is presented. In this scheme, the binary watermark is generated by a chaotic map. Using a secret key, select some perceptually significant coefficients from detail sub-bands of 3-level DWT of the host image. The watermark is embedded by adjusting the values of ordered coefficients in different orientation. The experiments demonstrate that the proposed scheme is simple and efficient; it's not only invisible, but also robust against regular signal processing.
