Abstract

A palladium(II) complex with 2-[(3-aminopropyl)amino]ethanethiol (HL), [Pd 4(L) 4]Cl 4 ( 1), has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy. The cation has a thiolate-bridged tetranuclear structure, in which each palladium ion is essentially coordinated by a square-planar N 2S 2 donor set.
