Abstract

Abstract This paper describes a nonlinear AR model in which the nonlinearity appears as a multiplicative state-dependent function on the input noise term. This structure allows to gain some control on the shape of the output probability density function. A sufficient condition for the stability of such a model is given, as well as a sub-optimal parameter estimation scheme. The model is then applied to real signals issued from temperature variation sensors.
