Abstract

It is shown that the origin of the diverse structure of comets and other minor bodies cannot be explained by a single process. A qualitative dualistic hypothesis of the origin of these objects is developed. This hypothesis is based on information obtained by space missions and the discovery of a variety of evolutions associated with explosions and hot gaseous compressed interiors of giant planets. In addition, it is shown that different processes can lead to similar results, such as the formation on celestial bodies of craters by both volcanic and impact processes.
