Abstract
A SINGLE specimen of a strikingly distinct and hitherto unknown species of toad (Bufo) is included in a collection ofamphibians and reptiles representative of the Korean fauna received by Field Museum of Natural History from Mr. L. H. Snyder of the Songdo Higher Schools, Songdo, Korea. It is an especial pleasure to attach the name of Dr. Leonhard Stejneger to this species since it belongs to a fauna long a favorite with him and one in which his studies laid the foundations for subsequent systematic work. The new form may be called:
