Abstract

Relief distribution is one of the important activities in disaster management. It is more important when configuration of relief network is predetermined. In this paper, we propose a mathematical model with three objectives for post-disaster based on a predetermined network to determine path and amount of relief goods distribution. Time, cost, and inventory balancing are considered as objectives of the proposed model. The goal programming is applied in this study to face the multiple objectives. Moreover, capacity and different types of relief vehicles are considered in the proposed model. The proposed model can be applied in different natural and technological disaster situations. Finally, several numerical examples are presented to evaluate the efficiency of the model. The sensitivity analysis confirms the validity of the proposed model while efficiency of the proposed solution approach is confirmed by some numerical examples.
