Abstract
A new method of acclimatization of labourers to hot humid conditions is described in detail. Men are thoroughly acclimatized within a period of 12 days, working moderately hard for 6 days in a cool, and 6 days in a hot, stope. They are productive from the start and the method seems to have considerable economical, physiological and psychological advantages.
