Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for parameter identification of continuous-time fractional order Hammerstein systems with commensurate order in linear parts. The proposed algorithm is based on an auxiliary model, a recently developed fractional derivative is used in the algorithm. The new fractional derivative is an extension of the common integer order derivative. Compared to the classical fractional derivative, it is closer to the common integer order derivative. Considering this advantage, we expect that the use of the new derivative could improvement the effectiveness of identification algorithm. Besides, this new definition can deal with other systems that are difficult to handle by the classical derivatives. The effectiveness of the new algorithm is illustrated by a numerical example.
