Abstract

ABSTRACT In this paper, a new Buck-Boost converter with coupled inductor that can eliminate right-half-plane (RHP) zeros is proposed. The steady-state model and small-signal model of the proposed Buck-Boost converter in continuous conduction mode (CCM) are established and analysed, and its control-to-output voltage transfer function is obtained. The condition for this proposed converter to eliminate RHP zeros is derived based on the Mason formula. The comparisons among the other extant four Buck-Boost converters and the proposed Buck-Boost converter are carried out, and it shows that the proposed Buck-Boost converter has the advantage of eliminating RHP zeros. Finally, some simulations and circuit experiments are presented for confirmation.
