Abstract

The multipath error is the major error source for high precision positions. One sidereal filtering multipath migration method is proposed for single difference carrier phase(SDCP) measurement based on polynomial fitting technique. The multipath error prediction is estimated by constructing a piecewise polynomial function based on polynomial fitting of one sidereal period multipath errors. Then the multipath error of the measurement is eliminated by subtracting the corresponding prediction. The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by field experiments. The experimental results show that the 3-dimension (3D) accuracy of proposed method is improved by 68.9%, compared with the results that without multipath error eliminating.
