Abstract
Resonance parameters for the 235U fission cross section, as measured on the “Petrel” experiment at the Nevada Test Site, were determined using a multi-level fitting program based on the Wigner-Eisenbud R-matrix theory. Tentative J π values are assigned to each level for neutron energies from 17 to 70 eV.
