Abstract

A minimum dimension realization theory in applications to economic policy model is investigated in this paper. The relative effectiveness of two different realization methods for the optimal stabilization purposes is numerically examined in relation to the problem of instrument instability. Finally, certain simpler design method of stable feedback policy is presented using a minimum dimension state-space representation for linear deterministic economic system.
