Abstract

This paper proposed a miniature UHF-RFID tag antenna designed for metallic objects. The antenna structure consists of a T-matching network, double symmetrical radiating patches on top and a ground plane at bottom. The miniature design is achieved by adding capacitive tip loadings at the end of the two radiating patches respectively to increase the capacitive reactance of the antenna, so the self-resonant tends to 915MHZ. The bandwidth (|S 11 | less than −10dB) is about 80MHz and it covers two main frequency bands.
