Abstract
Sowohl trans- als auch cis-Halogenalkylierungen gelingen mit Dreikomponentenkupplungen wie der in Gleichung (1) gezeigten. Die cis-Bromruthenierung eines Alkins durch Lithiumbromid und [CpRu(CH3CN)3]PF6, katalysiert durch SnBr4, führt letztlich in hoher Chemoselektivität zu (Z)-Vinylbromiden. Das Ausmaß, in dem die Stereoselektivität gesteuert werden kann, wirft spannende Fragen zum Mechanismus auf und sollte einen großen Nutzen dieser Umsetzung für Synthesen zur Folge haben.
