Abstract
We discuss the relation between the Higgs-Yukawa model (a simplified Standard Model) and the generalized top condensate model. The phase diagram of a U(1) chiral symmetric Higgs- Yukawa model is calculated in the large fermion color number (N) limit. Comparison is made with the lattice simulation results.
