Abstract
This paper proposes a Ka-band 1 × 4 phased array antenna based on a reflective phase shifter. The main three parts of the antenna are described in detail, including the planar magnetoelectric dipole antenna unit, reflective liquid crystals phase shifter and power division network. The beam scanning characteristics of this scheme are verified by simulation. The maximum beam scanning angle of the antenna on the H plane is 20 degrees, and the main lobe gain can reach 9.7 dBi.
