Abstract

Co-operative wireless nodes are used to form the MANETs for communicating with each other without infrastructure. Over the radio range every node acts as network router which can enable the communication between nodes. An improved AODV Routing Protocol to find out the throughput of wireless networks many-to-one scenarios has been developed and presented in this paper. One hop, two hop and three hops throughput to the sink in wireless networks have been considered to measure the through put. Wireless network's throughput has been measured when AODV routing protocol's route timeout variable is decreased. The throughput of the proposed system has been verified and found that it gives increased active route timeout, increased route discovery time. The proposed system can provide reduced route discovery time and also improve the wireless networks QOS with many-to-one configuration.
