Abstract

T HE members of the faculty of the University High School, University of Chicago, meet fortnightly in a voluntary seminar that has been organized to facilitate the study of local school problems. Some of the consequences of this seminar's activities have been reported previously in this journal.' Thepurpose of the present article is to describe an attempt made during the year 1942-43 to develop a method of evaluation that would enable the members of the staff to appraise the success of their own teaching.
