Abstract

In this paper, a pseudospectral method is proposed for the nonlinear Fokker-Planck equations modeling the relaxation of fermion and boson gases. A full-discrete generalized Hermite pseudospectral scheme is constructed. Its convergence, stability and uniqueness are proved strictly. Numerical results show the efficiency of this approach and agree well with the theoretical analysis.
