Abstract

ABSTRACTIn recent years, with the continuous development of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) techniques, radargrammetry technique has become an important method to obtain high-precision digital elevation model (DEM). Based on radargrammetry techniques, a new processing framework is proposed in this letter. In the new framework, in respect of radiometry, a one-to-many stereo image pairs structure and a multiple image matching algorithm based on this structure are introduced, which improves the robustness and quality of the results in the matching process. In terms of geometry, a fusion algorithm of stereo pairs with different intersection angle based on the terrain relief slope threshold is proposed, which improves the accuracy of the results. Subsequently, the experiment is conducted in the Hengduan Mountains in Southwest China and demonstrate the effectiveness of this framework compared with the classical radargrammetry technique.
