Abstract
The relationship between Law and Health is becoming increasingly complex, given the growing challenge of ensuring fundamental rights amid the various transformations that influence the global health landscape. In this context, Health Law emerges as an essential field of knowledge to address the legal aspects of health protection and the regulation of new practices and services, ensuring a balance between globalization, innovation, and the protection of human rights. The current issue of the Cadernos Ibero-Amricanos de Direito Sanitário presents a set of articles developed to engage with the central theme of the Congreso Internacional de Derecho Sanitário, a result of the collaboration between the University of Granada, Spain; the National University of Distance Education, Spain; and the Health Law Program of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Brazil.
