Abstract
AbstractVertigo is a very common cause for referral to an ENT Clinic, and a great number of tests, together with a consultant physicians opinion, may be required to elucidate the problem. Syphilis, especially in its congenital form, is often forgotten as a causal factor. The case discussed demonstrates the difficulties and pitfalls that may be encountered in arriving at the correct diagnosis.
