Abstract
본 연구는 미래를 주도해나갈 10-20대 북한이주민들의 친구관계 경험을 탐색하고 그들의 친구관계 특징과 그의미를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 연구참여자 6인을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 진행하였고, 참여자들의 동의 하에 주제분석 방법을 통해 면담 자료를 질적 분석하였다. 연구결과 5개의 대주제 하에 10개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 도출된 5개 영역은 ‘북한이민들이 인식하는 친구의 개념 및 핵심요소’, ‘과거 자연친화적이고 신체 중심의놀이문화에 대한 그리움’, ‘친구관계에서의 북한출생자로서의 편견 및 차별경험’, ‘거리두는 친구관계 및 남한식 친구 사귀는 방식에 동화’, ‘좋은 친구들의 발견 및 정서적 지지체계와 일상 적응’으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 북한이주민들이 경험한 친구관계의 내용과 그 의미를 발굴해내고, 젊은층에 속하는 10-20대 북한이주민 아동 및 청소년 대상 또래문화This study explores the friendship experiences of North Korean immigrants in their 10s and 20s who will lead the future, and examines characteristics and meanings of their friendship. To this end, focus group interviews (FGI) were conducted with six study participants, and the interview data were qualitatively analyzed through the subject analysis method with the consent of the participants. As a result of the study, 10 sub-themes were derived under 5 main themes. The five areas derived were ‘the concept and core elements of a friend perceived by North Korean immigrants’, ‘missing for nature-friendly and body-centered play culture in the past’, ‘experience of prejudice and discrimination as North Korean borns in friendship’, ‘Distancing friendship and South Korean-style friendship’, and ‘discovery of good friends, emotional support system, and daily adaptation’. This study is meaningful in that it discovers the contents and meanings of friendships experienced by North Korean migrants, and provides practical suggestions for the development of peer culture-related programs for North Korean immigrant children and adolescents.
