Abstract

A 29-year-old man came to the emergency department after a collapse during a bicycle race. He was conscious, complaining about dizziness and palpitations. He never had these complaints before. The 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) recorded on arrival is shown in Figure 1A. The arrhythmia was terminated by electrical cardioversion. The ECG in Figure 1B was recorded shortly thereafter.
