Abstract
This study analyzed the hyperconnected public sphere, highlighting its implications in the context of public communication. Under social media, the public sphere has undergone significant transformations. This study examines the emerging dynamics of the hyperconnected public sphere, including the role of social media in disseminating information and disinformation and interactions between citizens. The literature review and empirical research on the livestreams of then-president Bolsonaro furthers the reflection on the hyperconnected public sphere.
